The Department of Criminal Justice at Radford University invites applications for one special purpose (non-tenure track) faculty position beginning August 2025. The successful candidate will demonstrate potential for or evidence of effective teaching with preparation to teach courses in forensic studies. Teaching duties will include four face-to-face courses at the introductory and/or upper level within the major. Service within the department is also expected, including overseeing the Forensic Studies minor as part of serving as the Student and Criminal Justice Community Engagement Coordinator. Additional duties for this position include leadership and coordination for student recruitment and advising; support of the department’s student fraternity, Lambda Alpha Epsilon; as well as building and maintaining relationships with law enforcement and other criminal justice agencies in the region. Successful candidates should expect to teach courses in criminal investigations and forensic studies. Given the duties of this position, there are no expectations for research productivity.
