If you have been to SCJA before, you know that fundraising is a long-standing tradition that reflects our core values as an organization. The primary way we do that is through the sale of raffle tickets, and every night during the reception we raffle off fabulous prizes. We then donate all raffle proceeds, in addition to a contribution from the organization, to a local charity in our host city.
This year we will be supporting Magnolia House.
As a recovery home for women, Magnolia House is a 30–60-day inpatient rehab for Women in Walhalla, SC, located in Beautiful and Scenic Oconee County.
Their Mission is to Empower Women Toward Recovery. They strive to give women hope, the tools they will need, and the strength to persevere in the face of the many challenges they will face on their unique recovery journey. Their team will assist them in learning how to function successfully in the community and helping them restore lives and relationships with their
families. Magnolia House will achieve this mission through a combination of an in-house intensive 30–60-day recovery program and non-residential intervention and educational programs.
